Completed in 1258, taking a mere 38 years to finish, Salisbury Cathedral home to one of the four surviving copies of the Magna Carta. Its spire, at 404 feet, is the tallest in all of Britain.
En route to Old Sarum, I just had to stop at Stonehenge. This is truly an amazing sight. Dating back to 3100 BC, this prehistoric monument is located about 8 miles north of Salibury.

Our hotel in Marlborough. Built in the 1700's as a coaching in, this hotel is located in the middle of Britain's widest high street. Wonderful little quirky property, great food and pub.
Kensington Palace, most famous as having been Princess Diana's home. For $18 USD, you can tour the palace and it is worth every penny. Absolutely beautiful and extremely interesting historical displays.
This is a small, rather secluded park within the Gardens itself. You can walk through or rest on one of the wooden benches at either end.
A visit to London isn't complete without a shopping trip to Harrod's, where the Queen is said to shop. It is enormous, quite chic and a wonderful place to stop for tea.
The flowers throughout the UK and Europe are beautiful. There are flowers everywhere.
This was our hotel for only one night in Forest Row. Nearby Ashdown Forest is home to Winnie the Pooh.
